Cape Cod Cottages, Waldport

Such a wonderful find. Spectacular view, I could've just sat there forever watching the waves crashing ashore and watching that cute little seal swimming around right outside the window. The beach is just right there. I sure can't wait to return.

Cape Cod Cottages is a perfect family get-away on the Oregon Coast! Right on the beach, with only a few steps to 6 miles of sandy beach! The rooms have that rustic charm of yesteryear, bringing back those wonderful memories of simplier times. The staff are helpful with any requests. We needed a cookie sheet, we just asked at the office, and they were able to supply a few for our needs. They've got fireplaces and kitchens which really helps you to settle in. And although they do provide cable tv, who needs it when you can watch the waves continuously crash upon the sandy shore!!!!

The 1930's cottage we stayed in was very comfortable and enjoyable. I stayed in the upstairs bedroom, roomy and light. You couldn't get a better view of the 6-mile walking beach than from the deck of the cottage. I like places with some character, and although a little worn, the cottage was clean and had cable t.v. A most lovely state park, Cape Perpetua, is only 10 miles south, and the small town of Waldport is un-touristy and sweet. I highly recommend Cape Cod Cottages and can't wait to return!

Cape Cod Cottages is a place where you can sit down and relax. We went on beach walks, played in the sand and at night we had a cozy fire in the fireplace! We especially liked that they had games, puzzles and movies to borrow from the office! (The sand sculpting toys are located outside the office!) The staff there was incredibly friendly and the room was very clean! We strongly reccommend Cape Cod Cottages!

Cannot wait to go back to Cape Cod Cottages. The beach was SO close. It was so relaxing to look out the window and see the action of the sea and the sky. The room was so cozy and clean!
