Village Inn On the Lake, Two Rivers

I HAVE BEEN GOING TO VILLIAGE INN FOR OVER 15YRS AND WITH THE NEW OWNERS HAVE CHANGED EVERYTHING FOR THE WORSE!!!! I HAD GUEST COME TO VISIT MY ROOM AND THEY CHARGED THEM $5 A PERSON JUST TO COME TO MY ROOM. THE LADY AT THE DESK WAS THE RUDEST PERSON I HAVE EVER MET!!!!!!!!!!!!! I WILL NEVER GO THERE AGAIN.....I WOULD STAY THERE 3 TIMES A YEAR FOR ALL 3 OF MY KIDS PARTIES......NEVER AGAIN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Very nice motel for the value. Enjoyed the stay. Would recommend to anyone in the area.

what a nice little place to stay ! clean and great help at the desk ! what ever our needs they were meet right away and with a Smile , all the help were wonderful to the kids . Will go back again next year . Needs Some TLC but what place doesnt.

What happend to the old management? New management made very generic changes. Tacky pool area. NO restaurant. A place that used to have a nice niche changed to a low end Super 8 property. Sad... we've been staying for 6 years, and will definitley not return

Was told we were getting a suite with a queen bed & full bed & a sofa & chair and dining area, lakeside view When we got there, was told that room would not be available til the following day - gave us a dump with a supposed 'king bed' (looked like a queen bed turned sideways!) and a nasty dirty sleeper sofa - opened the sleeper sofa and there was pubic hairs on the mattress cover - the mattress wasn't even an inch thick and it was head down feet in the air. Went back & told the lady and she was not very nice either time - was given a poolside room where you have to walk through the office and around the pool with all your stuff - room was not very nice very small TV - then we were supposed to move next AM to the suite, which who knows what that would be like. Luckily the woman with the uncaring attitude had left when I went back to say we weren't staying there - a very nice man, took the keys, at least said he was sorry & we wouldn't be charged - which I am hoping he is truthful about. Would not recommend this place to anyone! Had to drive an hour away to get a room, everything else was booked. When we got there they said someone else just said they came from a dump in Two Rivers also. Very disappointing

I loved most of the staff. Except for the young girl that checked me in last saturday. She seemed to be very overwhelmed and crabby. The girls that work at night we very nice and very helpful. They even could tell you were to go to Mass the next morning. The food was excellant but pricey. The rooms were nice and the pool area is very nice. I really enjoyed having a bar in the pool area. i could watch my kids in the pool and enjoy myself at the same time. I would come back to this place again.

We've only been twice, but look for opportunities to make the drive back and will be back again this year. It's a mix of everything and that's what we like about it. Great location / view. Nice staff. Beautiful pool and game area. Mini golf. Sand area for kids to play. Little indoor area for small children. Cafe' on site. Video games. Themed suites. Tremendous value. Maybe similar in concept to the Dells, but much smaller in scale. Only downside - it's not super-plush and maybe the regular rooms are a little ordinary - but it's the features and the view that make it special anyway. Never noticed a smell of 'fish' in the pool area. The staff is nice -- and the manager seemed sensible to me.

I absolutly loved the staff. They were really helpful. I would have told that to the manager but no body was there. Wow and on a weekend. Anyway the pool is very nice and I loved the bar in the pool area. The rooms however were nothing special and my bed had a spot on the sheets. For the most part i liked this hotel and would consider coming back in the future.

The service was great for the most part. One worker had her family there all the time so she wasnt the best at customer service. But the girl that works thrusday nights with brown hair and is tall is very nice and very helpful. I loved the location and the hotel as a whole. I would go back there.
