Great stay with great comfort, style and a great walk through "real" history of the area. Waking early, location provided for great walking excursions in all directions. Close proximity to downtown, 3-blocks away from downtown square, allowed attendance to weekly summer music events at the fold up band shell in Central Park Square, with a leisure walk "home" afterwards. 90% of community restaurants were within a 1-1/2 mile walk, many within 1/2 mile walk. The owner/operators, who grew up in the house, may very well be the greatest draw of all, fabulous entertainers, with ability to discuss most any subject, extensively traveled, and consummate piano and guitar players. Knowledgeable of all area events, they were a source for great weekend or evening activities. This establishment was exactly what I needed for my 8-week combined business and vacation trip. I am eager to return even if I were within 400 miles of the area (conditions permitting). I give it highest recommendations.
