Liked size and quality of room--go for their larger rooms. Quiet river town location ideal base of operations for touring coullee and upper Mississippi.
Not many other tourists..they all go to the Dells...a few bicylists and nature lovers only (nice refuges and parks very nearby). place is very clean and has nice grounds, and live-in owner-manager. Entire county, especially near Rivers and toward Arcadia and Buffalo is scenic. Do not miss Van Loon Wildlife area, but Van Loon best in rainy season.
