Allen's Budget Motel, Watertown

My family of four stayed in a Kitchenette here while visiting family in Watertown. We booked the hotel on short notice after experiencing some major issues with another hotel, and got an unbeatable weekly rate. The kitchenette includes a stove with oven, full size refrigerator, sink, cupboards, and small table for two. A separate living area included a pull out couch, desk, end tables, coffee table, and TV. The bedroom had a large closet, TV, queen sized bed and dresser, with the option to close off the room from the living area. The bathroom included the usual amenities, including a full tub with shower and plenty of shelving for towels. It was like staying in a small apartment for the week, which was perfect for our family. The furniture is a little dated, but everything was very clean and worked great. Longways (a truck-stop and diner) is located just down the street, and a Super Wal-Mart is only 3 miles from the hotel. There are several stores and restaurants only minutes away from the Motel. What sets Allen's Budget Motel apart is the staff. They were incredibly friendly, flexible and helpful. Although we opted not to have fresh linens daily, they removed our trash daily and provided us with fresh towels whenever asked. But they really raised the bar AFTER our visit. We left in a bit of a hurry and I somehow left a pair of diamond earrings in our room. We called the hotel and one of the staff members searched the room until she found them, under the dresser, and then arranged for a family member to pick them up. Sadly, many other staff at other hotels could have simply pocketed the earrings. For this reason, as well as the exceptional service and value, we have become lifelong customers, and look forward to our next stay the next time we visit our family in my hometown.

My room was clean and in good condition. The staff were friendly and helpful. I thought this place was an excellent value because for a reasonable price a patron gets a clean room, courteous service, and owners who are willing to work hard for you and want to treat their customer's fairly.

I travel to Watertown at least once a year for shopping and if I stay for more than a day I stay at Allen's. It is kind of out of the way for the main shopping area but close to Fort Drum for those who are visiting folks there.\n The staff is very friendly and accomodating and always provide me with a clean room which I very much appreciate. If you aren't looking for amenties like an indoor pool or fitness centre, check Allen's Budget Motel out

this is the best place i've stayed by far...we are there right now and it is great...staff is friendly...rooms are very nice...i will stay here again

My husband and I have been to Allens 3 or 4 times. The people are very helpful and the rooms are very clean. My husband is handicapped and the rooms across the street are very easy for my husband to use. We will be going back when we visit the area.

We enjoyed our stay. It is very clean and the people are friendly. We highly recommend it if you are in the Watertown or Ft. Drum area. Parking for trucks and buses available. The rates are very reasonable with refrigerators, microwaves, flat screen cable TV, and wired and wirless internet in every room. Great place to stay.

I got there at 11 pm because my plane was late but the lady at the desk was very kind. The hotel was quiet, clean and convenient.
