Fairlee Motel, Fairlee

This motel was the single greatest experience i've ever had in the North east Kingdom. Fantastic movies for a great price right outside the room. Also the food is to die for, the specialty the "thunder Burger" is definitely the tastiest burger i've ever had. The owners son, Cooper Trapp, said that the beef comes from their farm upstate, which tells you the beef is pure. Overall, I would come here any time i'm in the area for the amazing service and fantastic movie and food. Also, the son Cooper is a real comic! If you ask him to sing to you or tell a joke he will do it with great pleasure!

its not a very friendly or clean place to stay, the staff is un-helpfull, over all it wasn't a good experience.

I loved the fact that it is a family own and run motel. Everybody was very polite and welcoming. The food was limited, but the thunder burger was life changing. Also the movie theatre in my backyard was spectacular. Ive never been to a drive in theatre and i had the best experience. It is a great family and friends place. You get a lot for your dollar inlcuding great service! You can enjoy great drives throughout the vermont countryside. Easy access to a local golf course and lake and easy to find. Best vacation in awhile.

This motel was great. I loved the drive-in, it was great for our stay. The owners were very polite and were very hospitable and the food was immaculate. The Thunderburger was literally the best burger of my life!!! We stayed for 3 days and absolutley loved it. This part of vermont is beautiful and the recreation options are limitless. We suggest this motel for anyone who wants the best motel.

I have stayed there and find it the best value in the area, hands down!!!!!!!!!!! The rooms are always clean and comfortable. Owners are always pleasent and kind. I find this motel the BEST value in the Upper Conn. River Vally. I have stayed many places in New England and through ant rest of the country, I find this to be a great place to stay for the money that you pay. The Fairlee Motel and Drive-In is a very nice and clean Motel. The management is always been very accomodating to me and has made my visits very comfortable. The uniqueness of the motel is the room has a large picture window overlooking the back of the motel which has a Drive-In Theater where you can watch and listen in the comfort of your room without having to pay to drive in!! I recommend the Motel very much and I have stayed there several times over the past few years as I am doing some work in the area. Only downside is no internet connection, yet. That is a problem for Fairlee as a town and not isolated to the hotel but that should change in 2010.

we were staying there for a few weeks and yes a Drive In, in the backyard is nice.. But that is all. the rules there are meant for the elderly. if you want your sheets changed in the middle of your stay you need to pay them $20.00 to do so and if you want clean towels that is $3.00 a set and the kicker if you want ice $1.00 a bucket.. forget going out and doing anything like most people do, be prepaired to get yelled at for you may wake up the others at the place. they say you can only come and go during the day but forget coming in after 9:oo pm and they will tear you a new hole and tell you can't do that.. It's a motel and if i'm paying to stay i can come and go as i please .... no other hotel or motel will tell you, you can't come or go as you please... never mind charge to change your sheets... or pay for clean towels... the owners are never there there is no vending machine for snacks or soda, so what do you do when you get hungry or thirsty????? no not worth the time to go unless you want to see a drive in movie otherwise i would skip this place to stay!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I just really love going with my family and watching movies it is awesome!!!!!! I have been going to the drive in for many years and i love going to it!!!!!!!!!!.....it is sooooo much fun
