Stone House Motel, Ticonderoga

Just stayed there and the price was right. Not the most fancy place I ever stayed in but a good clean room with maid service right in town. I would stay there again.

We spent the night while on a driving vacation of the northeast. We found our room to be clean and spacious even if the decorating scheme was somewhat odd. It is in a good location and the rates were resonable, we especially appreciated the on site laundry

Don't believe the reviews saying this place is quaint - it is a pit. The carpets were covered in horrible stains; the air conditioner didn't even have a cover, the bikers drinking Budwiser in the parking lot added to the overall ambiance.

Liked: Very Clean Rooms,very affordable,walk to food/drinks,the pool & wireless internet. Staff is nice & helpful. We felt very relaxed & at home here. We spent 1 night but will be back again for a longer weekend.Looking forward to sitting by pool as hubby grills up dinner for 2. Disliked:not their fault but my cell phone would not get a signal in area and Discover cards not accepted

Stay here & you are a person not just a reservation.Not the newest place but clean & nice.Comfortable. We travel in a group of 2 couple & limited budget-this place doesn't whack you with extra people charges. The free use of grill saved us on eating out & had a relaxing time. It was our secon year here & group decided to make it a tradition.Sweet place with sweet people.

Very frendly people, we were met by the owners when we checked in and they couldnt have been nicer to my wife and I. We stayed 3 days,our room had a beautiful fireplace King size bed and dining table with a frigerator and a microwave. This made for a very comfortable stay. The rate we payed here was less than the other motels in the area for a lesser room and only a doule bed! We thoughly enjoyed our stay and would definately be back on our next trip to Ticonderoga.

We spend 2 weekends a month in Ticonderoga and this is the only place we will stay.We have tried the others but found this to be a great little place. The owners are on site everyday and very accomadating to our needs/request. The rates are far better then anyone else! The rooms are very clean and comfortable. In room coffee and wireless internet , I don't have to get out of my PJ's too early.If my husband has a meeting, a late check out time for me is always available. My husband has found their corporate & weekly rates to be lower then others so when work sends him to the area he will get the best deal. It is an enjoyable place,great owners & staff-very cute.We will be back as we reserve our room for the next 6 months.

Having to work in town it was nice to stay here. The owners were very helpful and nice.After 6 weeks it was almost like home.I am planning to bring my wife & kids up this summer to stay here. I shared a room that had 2 king beds and a real table to eat at. Being able to use my laptop in my room really helped pass trhe time as there is not much to do here in the winter.
