What a gem of a motel. Very clean. Ginny, the owner, makes you feel as though it were your home, not just a motel. We were happily surprised. AND, there is an indoor pool that is immaculate. See you in the near future Ginny. Thanks. Donna & Tom

Best nights sleep in years!

We stayed here year and loved it.Rooms were very roomy and the beds we cant say enough about. BEST NIGHTS SLEEP WE'VE EVER HAD. Manager is wonderful .Couldnt ask for any better.. Rooms were very clean. and pool was warm after a day of riding sleds. VIEW IN THE MORNING IS BEAUTIFUL. We were close to everything. EVERYTHING WE NEEDED WAS THERE..A++++++. THATS WHY WE ARE GOING BACK NEXT WEEK..

Very dirty

The hotel needs some major cleaning. There were black marks on the carpets in all of the traffic areas...and everything was sticky to the touch. We took our 13 month old there and were afraid to let her down on the floors. It did have a roomy interior - we loved that there was a living room/kitchen downstairs and the upstairs bedroom - allowing us to relax after she went to bed. However, the lack of cleanliness far outweighed the good points.

Ok, but noisy!

We enjoyed being by the water, as my son and husband like to boat. But the noise level was distracting, and the rooms were just so so in terms of cleanliness. We love Old Forge, but want a place to have fun and peace. The old girl needs some upkeep as well. We will not be returning, sadly.

clarks beach our family getaway

I chose clarks beach last summer due to my children going to camp, up in woodgate.I read a few reviews prior to going which were not so positive.I needed a place that could suit my large family, when I went on their web site it was accomidating to my family size due to fire law code a large family would need 2 rooms in a average motel.I then decided to give it a try.I am so glad I did and have been back 2 times after and recently for thanksgiving weekend.The suites are cozy have everything you need, you do not have to lug alot of items from home we stayed last in the 2 bathroom suite, it's not a trump property it's a place to relax and enjoy your family.
