On the lake again
The Boulders is a great place to stay.
The rooms are clean and the staff is very helpful and accommodating. It is what staying in New Hampshire should be, quiet, on the lake, and affordable.
In the morning, you can here the loon singing and maybe even see one swimming by.
The beach is a main reason to stay. It is clean and the water is cool and refreshing. The lake, Little Squam, is just steps from any motel or cottage door. Rowboats and canoes are available with a night's stay. At night, guests sometimes meet for a marshmallow/smores campfire evening. A good place to fish, too. With some bait and a decent pole, you can catch fish worthy of a photo opportunity.
The location is great, too. Meredith is 20 minutes away, as is Plymouth and Ashland.
My friend stays at the Boulders regularly and I've been there a few times myself and would stay again in a heartbeat.
