World to Explore in Central Oregon
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 7/30/11
Inn front office told us our family ended up really close to amazing sights. Went out to explore Benham Falls, Paulina Falls, and the Obsidian LAVA rock flow. Marvelous place to be with a world to explore. Relaxing to stay here to soak up natures beauty.

Stopped by to see & booked out this place for family reunion. Took 10 minutes to drive from Sunriver to the Timber Crest Inn. Convenient 4 family gathering.

WEATHER BEAUTIFUL NEAR 54 DEGREES. ESCAPED RAIN AND SNOW TO SETTLE AT THIS PRIVATE AND PEACEFUL MOTEL. POLITE, YOUNG MAN AT DESK GAVE ME A MENU FOR LOCAL RESTAURANTS AND CALLED TO FIND OUT WHEN PIZZA RESTAURANT CLOSED.

Nice Place - Good Rates!
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 11/2/10
I work at two hotels in Redding, CA. we get a lot of customers and competitors that write reviews that do not represent the business. We stayed at the Timbercrest Inn on a day where a customer used hotel towels to clean their bikes. The management did not tolerate this type of activity and I applaud them. I do not want to use towels on my body that are used on car parts. I think the front desk clerks are nice, the hotel rooms are great, and priced within budget. I've seen it all, customers stealing towels to shower rods, breaking beds, and then getting mad if they get charged. These types of activities make hotel room rates go up everywhere for honest travelers.

Pleased with Stay
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 10/9/10
Pleased with our stay, rooms were nice. Free wireless and a free, small breakfast in the morning was a perk. Clean rooms and mine was non-smoking and did not smell of smoke.

Violation of privacy
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 7/25/10
We chose to say here to be close to family for a short visit. The weather was 90+ degrees so we left our air on. When housekeeping came in to make our beds they were instructed to turn off our air conditioning. When we arrived back to the room it was at least 95 degrees IN THE ROOM! We called to ask if they had turned off the air and the lady at the front desk said yes, when asked why she hung up on my husband. To make matters worse when we went down to discuss the situation with the front desk person she threatened to call the police! Needless to say we will NOT be back! I would not recommend this Inn to others as the costumer service was not what we would have expected for the rate. The rooms were Ok - very out dated.

Many owner-written reviews?
By Who's_Your_Froggy, 5/28/10
I especially like the one that ends with, "We hope to see you soon." Laughing way out loud at that one!!!

Decent and inexpencive.
By Peter, 8/15/09
Of course we are not talking Ritz here, but the motel was clean, the carpet was new, granite countertop was a surpize. It is located on a busy highway with a railroad running on the other side of the road, so bring your earplugs. The staff was very friendly and helpful. We would stay here again. BTW, we paid around $70 incl. taxes.

Lovely Place
By Craig, 3/29/09
This lodge was really lovely, economical, and modern. The beds were sooooo comfortable and cozy. The bathrooms have granite countertops which I did not expect to see but this place did have them! The beds were BRAND new! The management was SOOO nice and friendly! Very Clean rooms and great value. I did not have a problem staying here at all and would recommend it to friends and family! We hope to see you soon.

Nice Place to Stay!
By Dilharge, 10/12/08
We had a real nice time at this hotel. We really were treated very well and we really liked the rooms. We did not have to pay that much at all. The rooms had nice carpets, clean towels, beautiful granite vanities. There was a full tub in each of the rooms we booked. For the price and for the location, I give it 2 thumbs up.
