Wonderful meal, and world-class sunset
We've eaten here many times over the years, and in that time it has transformed from an average place with lots of fried seafood, a salad bar and other old standards, to an outstanding restaurant with fine food, creatively prepared by top local chefs. This week, we visited again, and I ordered grouper with baby heirloom tomatoes and risotto. It was amazing -- as good as anything at Tin Pan Galley (another great place up the road). I would recommend Rainbow Shores Hotel to anyone in the area who wants a break from the usual offerings, and wants to enjoy a good meal. Now, I have also heard the kitchen can get backed up when it gets crowded. We were seated quickly, and were served everything in a timely manner. Not too rushed and not too slow. As for those complaining about Rainbow's prices and the changes, their reviews tell it all. They miss the salad bar. Really? I can't think of a decent restaurant that still has a salad bar. So keep up the good work, Rainbow. We'll be back, and we're telling people about it.
