Sunset Oceanfront Motel Bandon, Or, Bandon

The motel lobby looks like a lodge - very nice. I stayed in older part of the motel. The room was small but it was just me. I'm sure this part was built in the 1950's and most of the interior was redwood. You wonder were 96% of the giant redwoods were used for. It reminder me of the redwood home I grew up in. I wanted to stay an extra days but I fought off the urge and travelled on up the coast. The view was terrific! The motel has many room options, I just chose the cheaper option. ($65) I didn't have a ocean view until I walked 100 feet. The room was clean and comfortable with a nice restaurant next door. Free continental breakfast in the lobby. Great coffee, muffin and yogurt. CONS: The room walls were a bit thin! I could hear every noise made by the occupants next door. I hope to return someday.

We love going to Sunset Motel. We are there so often I think we should soon be part owners!!! It is always clean and the view is out of this world! We like to stay in the Vern Brown for an unobstructed view and we can leave the door open for the ocean roar all night! We will be back!!!

My boyfriend and I stayed at the Sunset Motel: Vern Brown Addition (the newest beach front section) over this past New Years. We loved it so much we extended our trip. (My boyfriend and I are both 24.) When I called to make our reservation the lady on the phone was real sweet. The lady at check-in was too. The furniture in the rooms are a bit dated but everything is clean. Our room had 2 queens, a kitchenette, and a fireplace. Each day a firelog is left in the room. One day we got two (extra one free of charge) because the maid was in our room we came back on day. The Vern Brown Addition is right on the beach. It has a stair path that leads down to the beach. What a view. We love this place so much that we are actually going back to stay for a week in the beginning of July!

I have stayed here for many years and love it. My husband and I spent five days of our honeymoon here and he is as sold as I am! It is always clean and the staff friendly and helpful. The view? What can I say!!!! I think I am part owner and should get a discount!!!!!

My Husband and I honeymooned there, and will be returning this spring while he is home for R&R from Iraq! The memories bring tears of joy to our eye's to this day! The ocean-view room with the fireplace, the wonderful service! Who could ask for anything more?

The view was fantastic, the staff very nice. I had 2 handicap people that were able to get around in the room without problems. Even though one couldn't go down to the beach they were still able to set on the deck and enjoy the ocean. This is a great place to go for a vacation. It is very relaxing. We had a great time and can't wait till next years vacation.

This is a beautiful Motel right on the Beach of Bandon Oregon,not only do they have all new additions they also have private beach bungelows that are well kept and super charming...The staff at this really great motel are who make this a great place to stay...
