Prospect Inn, Herkimer

These suites are wonderful. My wife and I stayed here with our daughter to visit relatives. Stayed 1 and a half weeks and didn't feel like we were in a motel at all. We usually stay at "name brand" hotels, but there are none in Herkimer, so we made reservations here. So glad we did. We had a king size bed and a TV with DVD player in the bedroom. She slept in the living room (Embassy Suites style) and also had her own TV with DVD player. She slept well on the pull-out couch. I understand they also have smaller suites, but we wanted her to have privacy at night in her own room. We also sat comfortably at the dining table, as a few times we ate take-out from local fast food restaurants at night. Not to mention my daughter had her own bathroom by the living room and we had our own bathroom in the bedroom. I will definitely recommend these hotel suites to anyone who will visit in Herkimer for a week or more. Very comfortable and quiet. Hallways are always kept clean and well lit.

We had a very nice suite. Very comfortable and quiet. Sure beats staying two weeks in an ordinary motel room. Very pleasant. Highly recommend.

We had a great time visiting our family and friends. This motel was a lifesaver. After a rocky start in 2 other area motels, we enjoyed the quietness of our studio suite. The indoor hallways kept us from feeling like we were in a motel at all. We felt like we were in our own mini-condominium. We stayed here for 10 days and even spent a few of them just lounging in our suite and watching TV. That's how comfortable we felt there. Will definitely come back again next time we visit our relatives.
