this palce stunk i paid 85 dollars to the manager and when i went down to the room it was very small and i couldnt get the lights or anything to go on so when i went back to get my money back it took 45 minutes for him to give it back he argued that he couldnt get the debt machine to cancel the transaction i would recomend just going across the street to the herkimer motel its alot better and cheeper than this

not so bad for price

i felt like a homeless person - never have i stayed in a motel where the soap was the bar left from the last tenant. definitely a third-world experience!

the noise was good

The noise of cars passing in the night almost hid the sounds coming from the other rooms. 'Best' feature - as I was waiting to check in - a elderly, very drunk man insisted on making sexual advances despite the fact that I was 40 years younger than him, and standing beside my b/f. We still laugh about it. Worst feature - trying to back out of parking lot smaller than the average living room - onto a high traffic road.

a last resort

The best feature was that Denny's was next door - and I do not like Denny's. This place is a small step up from a flop house. Noisy! Head of bed was about 20 ft from a highway - trucks go by all night long. I called to reserve a non-smoking room. 10 minutes later when I arrived "we just booked the last non-smoking room, you will hav eto take a smoking room". Fortunately - the smell of burned tobacco hid less pleasant odors. The economy of this area has taken a big hit in the last 20 years: people of means don't go live here anymore and rarely visit here, so everything (hotels, stores, restaurants) cater to those looking to minimize cost, regardless of impact on quality.
