The most dishonest guys that I ever met. I called to reserve a cabin, and they charged my CC immediately and refused to cancel the transaction one week in advanced.
DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THEM
The staff was nice and helpful. The facilities were warn and inviting. The setting was rustic and not for the upscale type, but it was wonderful. We completely enjoyed ourselves. The food was to die for in both quality and quantity! Would recommend this place for those who live an outdoor experience.
I hate this place! I have never come back even for free! Dirty dishes, dusty night stands, garbage left from previous occupants, broken blinds, bad smell, broken chairs and so on. I had reserved cabin #2 for two nights, but we decided to go the next day. People, do not make mistake, NEVER,NEVER STAY HERE!
I agree with others- for $200 a night, I expected more- at the very minimum I expected clean- which it was not. The sofa was disgusting, no one in my group sat on it- the shower and bathroom had mold and mildew, the sheets appeared clean but the comforter, sofa, carpet, windows/blinds, and more did not. The heating unit squealed all night, but no heat actually came out and the windows that, if they could stay open, would have allowed me to hear the nearby river, were cracked or had no screens. It seems as though they have realized that with no competition for miles, they can do whatever they please and markup substandard rooms- I would have preferred to spend my money on a new tent. If you can, drive further to go somewhere else.
I agree with everything written in the review already posted. This place should be condemned. The mattress must have been at least 30 years old. The refrigerator and heating system popped and snapped so much, everytime they kicked in, that sleeping was almost impossible. Since the heating system was only in the one room, the kitchen area remained ice-cold, and the themastat was located right next to the heater, so that the heating and cooling cycle was way too extreme--one minute way to hot and then a few minutes later way too cold. The gas stove only had one burner out of 4 that would ignite and then you couldn't regulate it. You could see daylight out the side of the entry door. The shower was so small that you could hardly turn around in it. I could go on and on, but basically cabin 21 was a total rip off at $110/night--especially since this does not include any TV or radio. Everybody please stay away from this place.
We won't go back! For $120 we expected a nicer place. We paid extra for a creek view and they cut down a tree and took all the view away. Ceiling falling apart. When we went to check out the owners were arguing while 10 people waited to pay for items. The bathroom and shower are so small you can't turn around. If you're going to the bathroom and sitting the door was in your way.
We're not picky people, all we want is fair service for a fair price and we didn't get it by far! We could go on and on about how bad this place is enough said!
