Cabin Creek Inn, Thayne

I loved having a little log cabin of our own. The owners built the cabins themselves, adding new ones as their profits allowed, and there are many little handcrafted decorations. We felt a little cramped in the sleeping area with two beds. The closet is simply a shelf and pole for hanging clothes at the foot of one of the beds. The bedding was a bit worn, but since they were quilts, that made them soft and cuddly. The bathroom is in the middle of the cabin, so you have a nice little sitting area with a couch, table and chairs, and a wetbar with microwave and fridge. The reading lamp by the couch was inadequate, but I usually find that the case at motels. But it was clean and quiet, and the homemade breakfast was very nice. An on-site laundry facility was a plus. We would stay here again.
