Motel Poor - Not Accomodating

I made reservations here last summer and there was a major flood in the area three days prior to my reservation, roads were closed and travel was restricted. I called to cancel the room immediately, however due to their 3 day cancellation policy they refused to refund my money. I felt this was extremely unfair and even after speaking with the owner of the motel my refund was refused.
