Castaway by the Sea, Port Orford

If you take the upper floor rooms, or a unit with two floors, the view are tremendous. But, don't expect coffee in the rooms, WIFI, or anything better than a 20" 1970's TV. After walking the beach for a day, its nice to come back and rest, and catch up on the daily news, or even rent a nice late evening movie. And, the web site advertised $5 extra per night for pets. We were charged $10 per night, plus an extra night for a room we didn't use. The process to get a refund was unprofessional, even though the managers seem to present that nice home town feel when we were there. Pay by credit card, not debit! Couple from Vancouver WA

We have stayed there several times and each time we were treated with the utmost courtesy and respect. The view is tremendous and in comparison to others I would rate it a 10 out of 10. It is high up on a hill and generally quiet. Breezeway rooms are small, but sufficient for us (two). You will get a free gift when you stay. On our next visit we are planning on a kitchen unit. :-)
