uncomfortable and overpriced

Booked here because we could bring our dog. The $100/night was higher than other motels in the area we've stayed at, and for that price I expected a decent room. It was terrible. The place is run-down and would be acceptable (if you don't mind staying in basic places, I guess) at half the price but not at what they charge. The standard 2-bed room had no phone (no phone!) and a TV with an antenna (!) that got two channels, only one of which you could actually see well enough to watch. The beds were hard, and the room smelled really musty. The carpet was stained. One of the lightbulbs was out, and nobody in the office to give us a replacement. The bathroom (c. 1960, maybe 1965, really needed an update) had no toiletries available. Looks like it was once an OK place, and a great location, but really needs some TLC or if not that, a much lower rate. Do they get ANY return customers?
