Rainbow Cove, Himrod

We just spent the past weekend here and had such a peaceful relaxing time. This is our second visit. We firstm stayed at Rainbow cove on our Honeymoon trip in 2001. The grounds are very well kept and clean. The staff is very helpful and friendly. This is a great place to escape the business of life or spend some quality family time. The view of the Lake is wonderful. Boating, fishing. kayaking all available. Restaurant and swimming pool are easy access so there is no need to leave the premises. I wish i would have remembered to take a cooler with drinks and a few more snacks. This would have saved a trip to the store.

This hotel is not a 5 star, but the rooms are immaculate. The grounds are well kept and the restaurant is very nice. It is a small, resort style older hotel on the lake. Two stories high....no elevator....no internet....just a quiet place by the lake. You can rent a rowboat or fish off the pier. A nice place for the kids. The outdoor pool is 7' on one side and 3' on the other. It is well maintained and fenced in. We sat by the fire pit at night and sipped our Finger Lakes wine!!

Rainbow Cove on Seneca Lake in the Finger Lakes of New York State. Words do not describe, the location, the quality of rooms, many have been updated. View of the lake, the dock, and the swimming pool, and the delightful resturant on premise....The staff is friendly and very helpful. Away from the road traffic........We spent some of our honeymoon there last year and look forward to returning this year......Winnery abound in the area.....The lake is great for fishing.........and water sports.......Enjoying the sunrises over the lake. Not far from Wakins Glen, or Geneva, and Pen Yan. Highly recommend "Rainbow Cove" to all.......whether it is Spring, Summer, or Fall.......Good Luck for the season 2008......."We will Return",,,,,,,
