You can't get any closer to Finger Lakes Wine Country than this with a stay at the Inn at Glenora Wine Cellars. From your front door, you are just a few steps to the vineyard and a classic panoramic lake view. In your backyard, is Seneca Lake's first and foremost premium winery, Glenora. Take in the view as you arrive, smell the aromas of grapes as they ripen, listen to the country quietness, and taste Glenora's award winning wines as you enjoy the complimentary bottle in your room.

Not a Place for Wine Tasting
By Bearhugger, 07/13/09
After wine tasting, we asked if we could buy two glasses of wine to drink out at one of their picnic tables. No, we had to buy a bottle. Fine, we're used to that, so we bought a chilled bottle of white wine, 5 other bottles and cheese and crackers. After purchasing that and indicating our intent to drink it outside, we asked if they would open the bottle. Nope, we had to buy a corkscrew and do it ourselves!!! Nor would they let us borrow two glasses. Forget about complimentary use of a cutting board, a knife and plates. This is NOT what I expected, especially after purchasing $115 worth of wine (their best). I've been to over 100 wineries, and this is the first time this has happened. I was stunned and left feeling cheated. Would I go back? For the view only, I would never buy anything from them again.

Luv-d it!!!!!!!!!
By Nora D, 07/10/09
My husband and I stayed here in May Reisling month and really enjoyed it. Places were just opening so rates were good. I wish we would have stayed two nites, but decided to disappointingly travel to Seneca Falls. Please if you are considering, stay at Glenora and just travel the other side of the lake the next day. Enyoy!

A little disappointing
By Annette, 07/02/09
We were a little disappointed to find that we were not able to check in early, not even an hour earlier than their 3PM check-in time. The view is beautiful and the free wine tasting was excellent. We were disappointed with the food. We ate dinner and breakfast there and everything was room temperature or cold. From the coffee to the eggs there were disappoinments. We had planned to sit on our private deck in the evening and enjoy our bottle of wine and the view , but unfortuatley there were thousands of June bugs and we were unbale to even open the sliding door. So word to the wise-don't plan a visit in June! We then decided to order room service for dessert and coffee. We ordered the strawberry rhubarb cobbler with Tahitian vanilla ice cream and coffee, again disappointed! The coffee was cool, one cup had over half of it spilled out onto the saucer, the ice cream was melted and we actually thought they had mistakenly brought us Creme' Brulee!! We paid top dollar for this special night and could have spent the money at a less expensive place and enjoyed it more.

Great place to unwind
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 03/18/08
I intended to stay one night for a little getaway from my busy life last summer (August '07), and I ended up staying 2 nights because I found all the comfort and relaxation I was looking for. The room was spotless, attractive (the bathroom was beautiful!), and I loved being able to walk out onto a little private deck, sit and look at the view, listen to crickets; sipping the complimentary wine I uncorked from the mini-fridge. You get coupons for free tasting in their winery tasting room, which is a very short walk up the hill from the Inn. The dining room is gorgeous, the view breathtaking (especially at moonrise)and the food generally delicious and well-prepared. While the service throughout the Inn was friendly, casual and accommodating, the servers in the restaurant seemed on average very young and in need of better training for fine dining service. I ate all my meals here over the 2 days, and sometimes the food seemed over-ambitious in preparation and missed its mark. But overall, my experience here was worth every penny and I would definitely stay here again.

Absolutely loved staying here!!
By sophie38, 01/13/08
My husband and I spent a couple days up there about a year ago, to celebrate his new job back home. I just can't say enough about the room, view, food and overall atmosphere. It was our first time going up to the finger lakes region in the winter, as well as our first time staying at the Inn. The people were great, and we would recommend staying here to anyone. We hope to stay up there again in the near future!!

Happy Honeymoon
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 09/25/07
We stayed here at the end of our Honeymoon and are on our way back for our one year anv. 2007. The rooms are a bit overpriced but thats are only complaint. Views are breathtaking. Thier port and Yellow cab red wine remain 2 of our favorite things. Are breakfast was steller each morning. Make the trip to Bully Hill.
