Three Bear Inn, Marathon

Rooms were clean. Didn't smell. Nothing fancy but a fine place to stay. BONUS was the bar & seeing the Amish on Sunday am. Wife didn't really like the beds or the bedding, but I was comfortable. A nice upgrade would be to replace the linens, but maybe it was the end of the season(s). The steak hash @ breakfast is worth it.

First the place is a dump ,the rooms smell ane are dirty second the food was cold and the dining room could barely see the lights were so dim it must be to hide the bad food when i complained the owner sharon told me it was to bad, THIS IS THE WORSE PLACE I HAVE EVER HAD THE MISFORTUNE TO GO

We liked everything about this property. Great value, easy access, Very accomodating. Staff is well trained and local customers are colorful and friendly. Food is fabulous. Breakfast. Lunch and Dinner. Stop by and you will agree. Tom and Sue

I believe it was an old army barracks turned into a hotel. It is in a great little town. It has a restaurant / bar across the parking lot and a Gas station / food mart across the street. Also a diner and ice ream shop within walking distance. Easy access just off the ramp from exit 9 off rt 81 N. Great Restaurant / bar, $10.99 all u can eat Prime rib dinner. Plus other nightly specials. Cant beat the drink prices either. Im used to the $15.00 apple martinis in NYC areas. At the 3-Bear it cost $6.00, for 2 apple martini's and 1 beer. Great place to stay for hunters and fisherman. Book early, hotel fills quickly during the hunting and fishing seasons. Just remmeber you are in farm country, do not expect the holiday inn.
