My boyfriend & I just stayed at the Sun View for TAP NY weekend because it was the only place that had availability. Now I know why. There was absolutely NO WATER PRESSURE in the shower. I mean NONE. We couldn't even take a shower. The rooms are just OK. There was hair in the shower from previous guest but that was probably due to the fact there is no water pressure when they clean the room. We only stayed 1 night. I wouldn't want to stay longer than that. Most places around there give you some type of breakfast. Nothing here. Not even coffee. No hairdryer in the room. The only redeeming quality is that it's walking distance to town. Not worth $130 a nite. Find another hotel or B&B in the area if available.

We had an excellent experience

We enjoyed our 3 night stay at the Sun View Motel this past summer. The place was clean, with a laid back, calm atmosphere. It has a nice, large back lawn, with plenty of picnic tables and several relaxing hammocks. The best part of it all was the friendly and accomodating staff. The manager went out of his way to respond to any questions or concerns we had. We look forward to visiting again in the winter, and getting in some skiing and snowtubing at Hunter Mountain, which is about a 10 minute drive away.
