Deposit Motel, Deposit

the room itself was not clean, the water inthe shower was brown. we only stayed over night and so made do but would not stay again. thought the married could share a room only rule was odd... though i was traveling with my husband. the many running the hotel was kin to us though :)

CALLED FOR A RESERVATION BUT WOULD NOT ALLOW MY BOYFRIEND AND I TO STAY IN THE SAME ROOM. STRANGE REQUEST. NEEDLESS TO SAY WE ARE NOT STAYING THERE. THEY LOST A NIGHT'S STAY FROM A WELL EDUCATED COUPLE WHO ARE VERY RESPECTABLE. A PIECE OF PAPER DOESN'T A COMMITTMENT MAKE.

Stopped here midway into a 2-day, 220 mile bicycle journey, the last 50 miles in pouring rain. The owner was friendly, even giving me a towel to wipe down my bike after a rainy, wet ride. Room was clean and neat. Only negative, the phone was not connected, but I had my own cell phone. Restaurant next door and Wendy's nearby. Would stay here again.

We stayed here Labor Day weekend as we were visiting some friends in Deposit and what a Charming Clean Place to stay! It felt more like a Bed and Breakfast to us than a Motel! Everyone was so nice and friendly and we loved Pete,the Owner, he is such a nice and sincere man. He took the time to talk with us and tell us some of the history there and said to let him know if we needed anything at anytime. Also there is a nice place to eat right next door called "The Pines" with good food at affordable prices.We would def stay here again! Was this review helpful?
