Blue Coast Inn & Suites, Brookings

The room stunk so bad we had to get a air freshner.The bed are broke down,the pillows are flat as pancakes.The blankets are worn out.The worst was the shower.It didn't drain and black muck came up while my husband was standing trying to take a shower.Beware do not stay at this hotel.....

Their big claim to fame is their 'continental breakfast' which ended up consisting of a small glass of Tang and a pre-packaged mini cinnimon bun. The television reception was nil at best and there wasn't even a remote. Furnishings were not anything exciting, and if I remember correctly, some of the towels & bedding appeared to have not been changed from the last tenant. The only thing remotely nice about this place, is that it was close to a small cafe-like resturant and just a few minutes from Harris beach.
