Hotel Elinor, Chicago

I lived here with my b/f along time ago and we loved it!!! Was just right as we had just gotten there from Cali and didn't have much money or to many belongings for that matter!!! But we were very happy here!!! :)

YBeware this hotel hotel has beenraided by police twice sofar this year for prostitutes. And drug traffic

Charles and I stayed here for two nights and it is a fairly decent place to stay. It is a 1920's era hotel and was well run. The rooms are not fancy, but the hotel is clean and quiet. It was worth the money spent-$45 a night. I would say it is best for singles or couples and is probably the best hotel and certainly the best deal in the Portage Park area. I do not think they allow kids, as we did not see any, but I rather liked the stay and we will return.

there was a death there long time ago.This hotel sucks.The owner has no compassion for money.No compassion at all.People who live there are getting taken for what they do not have.They charge too much.
