WONDERFUL place can't wait to go again!
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 07/20/09
I loved the solitude and we like country life. They are more than willing to try to accomodate your requests and the corgi dog is a sweetheart. If you like country and quiet, beautiful scenery and wildlife then this is your place to go. If you are a city type then you may be more comfortable within walking distance of your local pub and eatery. I found the room above the barn romantic and very nicely furnished. It's like home away from home.... with some books in a basket. The only thing I would do differently is take the room that was not facing EAST as they don't have shades and the light does tend to wake you up. Good for morning folks but we like to sleep in a bit. =)

Will definately come back again!

Gail and Joe are very welcoming. We especially like Maggie the dog she is very friendly. The area is just beautiful and peaceful. Can't wait to see it in the Fall. Gail's "Not your Mamas Oatmeal" is devine. The rooms are beautifully decorated and very clean. All and all a wonderful trip the only problem now is that I think she needs to expand cause I can never get back in because she is booked every time I try.

A little disappointing.

I little too far out of the way for our tastes. We prefer something closer to town. Staff was kind, room was nice, but we'll try another place next time we visit Potter County.

Wonderful experience!
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 09/17/08
Frosty Hollow B&B is a great place for anyone who enjoys the peace and quiet of the country life. A terrific place to relax and unwind. My room was immaculate, and the price was unbelievably reasonable. Gail couldn't have been nicer and the breakfasts were fabulous!

Hosts are very nice but....
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 09/11/08
Gail couldn't have been more pleasant, but the whole place made me feel like I was staying at my grandmothers house. I only stayed one time because my regular hotel (Millstream) was full. If you like that kind of atmosphere then Frosty is a nice place to stay. For me, I would take my regular hotel any day.

My Home Away From Home
By Larry, 06/11/08
I had the good fortune of being able to stay at the Frosty Hollow bnb maybe a dozen times over a six month period while on business. A very comfortable place to relax. (and the breakfasts are wonderful.)

A great find.

My husband and I stumble upon this B & B. We only were able to stay for one night but I wished we had stayed our entire vacation there and did day trips from this location. It's located near Couderport on a very minimally traveled paved road. It's very quiet and filled with wildlife. It's not far from Cherry Point State Park so if you wanted to look at the milky way you didn't have to travel far. We could see the milky way off their back porch. We stayed in the loft which had two rooms. living room with window air conditioning of which was not needed and a bedroom with a queen sized bed and full bathroom. A microwave, small refrigerator and coffee maker was available to us as was crackers, popcorn, an assortment of tea and coffee. The room was spotless and the bed comfortable. Breakfast is served between certain hours and consisted of fresh fruit, yogurt, granola, scramble eggs, biscuits, sausage gravy, orange juice, coffee, tea and blueberry coffeecake. A hot tub is available for guests as well as a full fitness center. Nothing is rushed here. We will definably be going back for a visit. They do have a friendly dog and three very friendly cats all of which will visit you from time to time if your sitting on the porch. The innkeepers were very friendly and a joy to talk to. They treat you like family.

Excellent place to stay
By kipz, 06/01/06
Frosty Hollow is a very nice BNB/Inn. The innkeeper, Gail, is very friendly. The entrance and buildings are well marked, and they accomodate a late check-in. The high-speed Internet service works.(It's apparently a simple NAT device with no special firewall rules). Breakfast is very good and home-made. It's all very clean, too. The linens smell fresh and clean. Each room seems to have a private window-unit air conditioner. Mine worked. It's about 12 minutes from downtown Coudersport. Privacy is fairly good. They have a separate cottage that might be good for couples, although I suspect many other rooms would be nice.
