Jade Lodge, Rawlins

If you are looking for an economical hotel in Rawlins, I would recommend the Jade. I paid $45.00 including tax. It was clean and recently remodeled. I got there at night during a snow storm and it took a while for the room to heat up. It is a short walk to the downtown restaurants and bars so by the time I got to back the room it was warm enough. They could use new beds, but the bedding was clean. The carpet was newer and the room seemed fresh. Is far as hotel rooms go this was small. The older reviews don't seem to reflect the current condition of the property.

There are new owners and they have made a lot of new changes and made the motel like new again it is nice to stay there now and there is a reasonable price so anyone in that area should go to the Jade lodge it is the best deal in Rawlins.

Do not visit this motel! The perks include: - Sink that only drips scorching hot water (no cold water available) and would not turn on or off. - Room stinks, but includes air freshener taped to non-working air conditioner. - Bright lights directly outside window with insufficient blinds/drapes - Pillow so thin it must be folded in 4s to be visible to the human eye - Continental breakfast includes: almost empty warm bottle of "sunny d", little brown spherical cereal in a Tupperware container, and some week old donuts. All for the low, low price of $90/night. (They don't offer a AAA discount, despite advertising they do on the sign attached to their office)

I AM SO HAPPY THAT THIS SITE GIVES REVIEWS BECAUSE I WANT EVERYONE TO KNOW THAT THIS IS THE WORST PLACE EVER. THEY ADVERTISE LIKE IT WAS A NICE PLACE TO STAY BUT IT WASNT WE HAD NOTHING BUT PROBLEMS WITH THESE PEOPLE AND I WOULD NEVER GO BACK TO THIS HOTEL EVEN IF IT WAS THE ONLY ROOM AVAIL. AND NO I WOULDNT RECOMMEND IT IF UR STAYING ONLY THE ONE NIGHT EITHER. THIS HOTEL IS JUST THE WORST WITH THE WORST MANAGEMENT. THE PEOPLE WHO RUN IT ARE RUDE AND JUST LOOKING TO MAKE MONEY OFF UNSUSPECTING PEOPLE BY RIPPING THEM OFF. THEY DONT DESERVE YOUR MONEY!! SO ITS WORTH THE EXTRA BUCK TO STAY ELSEWHERE.

Perhaps it was the only room in that condition (there were no others available) but it was dirty and disgusting and I had biting bugs and roaches in the bed! The staff refused to address the matter and merely shrugged their shoulders and wiped the bugs off the bed when I showed it to them. Be forewarned: if you pay first and then look at the room and decide not to stay, they will not refund your money.

MANAGEMENT IS HORABLE COMPLETELY RUDE I HAD FAMILY MEMBERS THAT WERE DRIVING FROM CALIFORNIA TO CHICAGO FOR THE HOLIDAYS THEY WERE INVOLVED IN A CAR ACCIDENT WERE THE CAR WAS TOTALED WE CALLED THAT PLACE TO FIND OUT HOW THEY WERE THEY COULD NOT HELP US OUT AT ALL THEY HUNG UP ON US THEY WERE RUDE THEY SAID THAT THERE WAS NOBODY STAYING THERE AT ALL I HAVE NEVER DELT WITH PEOPLE THAT WERE SO RUDE BEFORE THIS IT IS SAD THAT PEOPLE LIKE THAT ARE ACTUALLY IN MANAGEMENT DOING "CUSTUMER SERVICE"
