Kane Motel, Kane

this is in response to Connie. get the story straight. You weren't even in the Office when the conversation took place. Your Husband was the only one I talked to. Yes you did call & ask for a room. We explained to you twice that the room was on the second floor of the house. We explained that it contained only 1 double bed, & private bathroom. We held the room for you ALL day. I explained how big the room was when Your Husband came into the Office. He Insisted that he needed to see the room before he would commit to staying. After holding the room for you all day & you coming in late in the day & telling me that you would need to see the room before you would commit to staying upset me. How dare you have me hold a room that I could have sold 3 times that day to someone else, then tell me you weren't sure you were going to stay. I am not Rude very often, but that day was one that I was. I have the right to refuse service to anyone & so I did. Denise Owner of the Kane Motel

While working in PA we needed to find a place to stay for a couple nights near or in Kane. We called and they said they had one room in the house. We travel for a living and stay in numerous hotels all over. We have never stayed in one that is a house, so when we arrived we asked about the room and asked to see it before we checked in..The woman there said no you cant see it..do you want it or not? Out of the hundredsof hotels we have stayed at we have never been told we could not see a room before paying for it. This woman was very rude and when I asked why I couldnt see it she simply said..either you want it or you dont. This is very unprofessional and uncalled for. Needless to say..we left and went on down the road. We wouldnt recommend this place to anyone. Just because there arent many places in the area to stay gives this woman no right to treat guests like she does. Hopefully they will sell this hotel to someone that appreciates business.

This motel was a very interesting place to stay..they have a 6-room motel with additional 4-rooms for people to stay in their house..My friend and I had the opportunity to tour the rooms and in each room is a theme..I stayed in the fisherman theme room..fascinating..Two of the 6-room motel has the themes of dogs and cats in one and wolves in the other and those rooms can have pets stay overnight with their owners..the other themes are deer, bear, and moose..wonderful wonderful owners..they will help you in anything you need..walking distance of all nice restaurants, stores, and very nice people you meet..anybody who are traveling through Kane and need to find a place to stay, look for Kane Motel..I highly recommended it

This is a very clean motel with many amenities. The owners have board games for kids/adults, there is a very large park nearby with tennis courts, badmitten nets, picnic tables and a very large playground for the children. Many resturants are within walking distance, along with convienance stores. The owners also have a microwave in the lobby along with a coffee pot and a soda machine stands outside. They sell snacks if you want. You are very close to some outstanding attractions such as Cook's Forest, Tionesta and many other lakes and outdoor activities. The owners are extremely helpful and nice and many brochures are available in the lobby. The price is right! We will stay there again!

We have stayed at the Kane Motel many times. Each time was a pleasure. Restaurant within walking distance. Nice rooms at the anex outside or the main building. Very pleased. Will stay ther again this weekend if there are rooms available.
