Airport Motel, Ord

As you can see the other reviews are older. I don't know if this motel has changed owners/managers since the other reviews were written, but this doesn't sound like the motel where we stayed. (1) The front desk clerk was NOT friendly. ( 2) The air wasn't turned on before our arrival so it was terrribly hot and never did cool the room down. I guess they were trying to save on the electricity, but the heat was terrible that day and we feel they could have started it before we arrived since we informed them we would be arriving in the early evening. (3) The beds were so hard we couldn't get comfortable and didn't sleep most of the night. (4) I can understand a small town motel not serving some type of breakfast, but coffee would have been appreciated before leaving in the morning. I'm sorry I can't give a better review, but if a business such as this doesn't get the negative as well as the positive feedback they won't know where to make improvements. When people travel from out of town it isn't unreasonable to expect a warmer welcome. On the pro side it was close to Burwell and we didn't have to travel too far for the rodeo. Did enjoy the rodeo and the people were very friendly.

The Airport Motel in Ord was very clean and comfortable. It was a pleasant surprise. The staff are friendly, the beds are comfortable, the room is clean, and the price is very reasonable. I would recommend this motel to anyone and will be sure to go there next time my family is in the sandhills of Nebraska.

I spent a few days here last year and a month there this year - they have renovated and it is wonderful! Immaculate, incredibly comfortable bed, large rooms, pleasant and helpful staff, great rates and location, and so quiet. The coffee is ready at 430 in the morning! I so wish they had breakfast.
