Ravenwood Motel and Suites, Klamath

My son and I had a fishing trip scheduled for the Klamath River in August. At the last minute his fiance decided to come along.Earlier in the year I had made a reservation for 2 people for 3 nights. After driving 12 hours to Klamath we stopped at the Ravenwood to see if we could check in early. We were told to come back after 2:00pm. When we came back to check in we were informed that we could not stay there. The room was for 2 people not 3. I asked if a roll away or cot was available and I was told again the room is for 2 people not 3. Find somewhere else to stay. A couple L met while in town informed me of a similar situation that had happened before. There is a great little place across from the Trees of Mystery further up 101N. Stay there instead. Staff was much friendlier and the rates were comparable.

A great place to stay. The owners really care about their guests. A very charming motel that has had a lot of care...Thank you both for making us feel at home!

I can usually find something to recommend for improvement but not this time. Perry, one of the owners, was most friendly when I made my reservation and also upon check-in. The room is not only clean and fresh it also has updated decor with every amenity you will need including wireless internet (which I did not use because I have my own wireless modem). The continental breakfast has more selections than most, including hard boiled eggs, fresh baked breads and coffee cake, fresh fruit, and the traditional bagels, muffins, jellies, etc. This is a classy motel situated amongst the majestic redwoods. You can't go wrong booking your next stay in Klamath at the Ravenwood Motel!!

Excellent place to stay. Special touches. Right across the street is bar and hamburger joint and the Klamath Cafe (fantastic breakfast).

We loved staying at this quaint motel - it is located in Klamath, CA which is in the middle of the Redwood National Park area. The room was very clean and inviting. The rates were oh so reasonable !!! The owners were very helpful and fun.
