Hacienda Motel, Alturas

I travel alone and usually stay at these older Mom and Pop places. I like parking at the door to my room and not having to schlep my bags up stairs. The Hacienda was small, clean, and comfortable, it served my needs very well. One thing about most of these type models is that the showers seems to be made for smaller people. Plus size people might have a problem with the shower stall there. The price was right.

Hacienda Motel is first class in cleanliness. Everything smell so good and fresh. Complete with amenities. The rooms were spotless. It is centrally located The local stores and restaurants are walking distance. I recommend the Hacienda Motel to anyone that are passing through Alturas, Ca. I am a repeat client, whenever, I drive through Alturas, I check-in the Hacienda Motel because the rooms meet my needs. I feel so relaxed, rested and having a good night sleep feel great.

We came thru on a road trip, apparently when a tour of classic cars booked up the rest of town. Had we been in Alturas first, we would have driven by this motel. We had visited the two chain inns in town, No Vacancy. This was a last ditch effort for a tired family. I was pleasantly surprised by the cleanliness of the room. Everything was fresh and clean. We had stayed at a chain in Redding-simply 2 queens in the room. Here we had a coffe maker, refrigerator, microwave, and tv. The queens were set up in two bedrooms, close enough together for the kids to feel secure, far enough for a bit of parental privacy. We were grateful for the peace and quiet offered at this motel. When we left we were showered, rested, and road ready again. I would definitely recommend this motel to other traveling families. I imagine we saved a minimum of twenty dollars on this room, and because it was a spot to sleep, it met our needs. It was also a non-smoking room which was unexpected. In my desperation to get of the road that evening, I had forgotten to ask for one.

I read a review of this motel online and took a chance reserving a room, sight unseen. The price was right. If I had just driven through town looking for a motel I wouldn't have stopped at this one as it doesn't look like much, but it turned out to be perfectly acceptable. The room we had had been redecorated and included a pillow-top mattress, a mini-fridge and microwave, and the nearly new airconditioner worked well and was on a thermostat. It was very clean. The space was small but that was no problem. I would stay there again.

everything is so close to store walking distance and to restaurant. easy to find, from redding to alturas, you never miss the sign hacienda motel . I will stay here again in the future. I recommend this place if you go to alturas. Best motel in town and the price is right.

We've stayed here numerous times going back and forth from SOCAL to Oregon. The people there are the nicest people and will go out of their way to accomodate you. Rustic on the outside but the rooms were very modern and clean. I will always stay here in my travels to and fro.
