Saratoga Inn Resort, Saratoga

My husband and I have been going to Saratoga Inn for years, it was our special escape. We especially liked the 'golf package'. The staff was, as usual very nice. The room was a little run down.( feather beds are now pretty worn) The restaurant was good, as well. But the golf course was absolutely horrible. I believe we paid $112 for the 2 of us to play 18 holes, plus cart. It looked like there has been NO maintainance done in the last few years. Hard ground, dead grass, most greens dead, tee boxes are mostly dirt. In speaking to a man working beside a green he said the course has an irrigation problem. Well, ok, but when we called to make reservations, and make our tee time no one mentioned the condition of the course. We feel that this course will never be the same, the Saratoga knows this, and took our money anyway. Will ask management for reimbursement, and find another getaway.

This place is just as my wife and I like it. The pools are great ie. clean water, nice temperatures, close to the rooms. Excellent service from the bar to the resturant. We are returning in January. People are friendly and we always meet other interesting guests.

My husband and I spent our honeymoon here a couple of years ago and we keep going back! The rooms are charming, with a rustic western theme. And we especially enjoy the little private hotspring pools covered by teepees. We love the rest of Saratoga too...lots of nice places to eat, galleries to wander through, and a rushing river to gaze at.

The Saratoga Inn should have been a wonderful place to have a wedding but we soon found that the key staff members were very rude and hard to deal with. The majority of the attendees felt sorry for the couple married and their families who had worked so hard to make this day special for all in attendance and the inn took that away. It was and is a beautiful facility and would make for a beautiful wedding. The food was unorganized and took hours to get everyone fed. Not all the staff was rude, but the majority of the wedding staff. I would think twice or three times about having your special day at this Inn. Great town. Beautiful location.

Its a fabulous little get away! My fiance and I spent our first weekend away there. Once we were in engaged there was no question as to where we wanted to celebrate our union. Its quiet, comfortable and surrounded by beauty. The only thing I would change is having more vegetarian options on the menu.
