our saving grace
We found this place after driving all night from NYC not realizing there was a Penn State game going on. Every town we went to was booked. The building is an older building, but well taken care of. The staff was very friendly which was a definite plus after driving all night. The rooms were clean and roomy. The beds were comfortable. The bathrooms were clean (even the tub) It had your basic necessities (soap, shampoo, basic cable, etc.). It's a good place to stay for a night or 3. The scenery is nice, too. The motel sits on top of a hill. We were there in the Fall. We may never go back because we found it on a whim, but it's a nice, comfortable place to stay. We would stay again.
