Finlandia Motel, Mt Shasta

Everyone was friendly and helpful. the motel was quiet and just a nice walk to the town and restaurants. Would go back over and over.

I really liked the place, very good value for the price. The rooms were larger than normal and the atmosphere was more enjoyable compared to the other options in town within the same price range (European). The rooms in general are nice, nothing fancy, but clean with big beds (our room had two queen beds). We were on a trip to climb Shasta, so the extra room was useful because of the extra gear. I think the owner is from Finland based on his accent and all the magazines from Finland...very friendly. You can tell he takes a lot of pride in this place. Half mile from town, very close to Mt. Shasta.
