Where is the manager?

Ants in the kitchen and bathroom and brown water in the sinks and toilets. We bought some bottled water to avoid getting sick. The property has promise but they need a motivated manager in order to make it happen. David and Heather seem to have no motivation to do anything. We went to speak with them on a Sunday morning and apparently they take Sundays off. Someone on the property was splitting wood all day and it was not only annoying, it ruined the quit retreat we were seeking. The property next door was burning trash and brush and the smell was terrible. Can't that be done during the week when the winds are favorable? If they did something about the ants in the kitchens and bathrooms and the water quality, it might be worth another try but something tells me that the current management just plain doesn't care. We were obviously very disappointed with our stay at View Crest Lodge and we won't be recommending it to anyone.
