Lost Whale Inn, Trinidad

We had a wonderful time. The host Rainer was so charming and a delighful beutiful young woman. The setting was so romantic and the staff was friendly and even made dinner reservations for us. Ww will recomend to friends and will return soon.

I have been to many esquisite locals and this is truly one of the most magical places I have come across. The sunsets along the private beaches, the giant redwoods of Patricks Point state park, and the breakfasts, ohh my the breakfasts. Everything was just perfect and I recommend to anyone who is looking for an escape from their fast paced lifestyle to come and enjoy this small slice of heaven.

We stayed there in the pouring rain, which is usually the case in that part of CA. But the inn is located on the ocean with gorgeous plant life all around it. If you are a nature lover like me, you will adore the place. If you are a dog or cat hater, you will not like the place. I personally love them.

The Lost Whale is one of the most beautiful inns in the world!!! I have traveled extensively and have never seen something so incredible as the sunset view of the Turtle Rocks and the Pacific from the deck. Wow!! The climb down to the ocean is equally beautiful. The kitten who escorts you down the steep steps is so cute. The Inn itself is especially warm and charming. The common room is delightful and the bedrooms very cosy and warm. The guests we met were they kind of people that you would like to meet in inn. The breakfast was unbelievable and worth the trip by itself. The innkeepers are wonderful, charming people who are extremely gracious hosts. The Lost Whale lives up to its reputation as one of the most romantic inns in the country. I can't wait to get back.
