Now renamed "The Last Resort in Adin"

Not the most promising sounding name perhaps, but other options are few and far between on the stretch of highway between Susanville, CA and Klamath Falls, OR. The Last Resort turned out to be a very pleasant surprise. I didn't expect much, at just over $60 with tax, but the room was clean, spacious and had all the usual fittings, including fridge and microwave. The highway out front was dead at night, and there was nothing out back all the way to the distant hills, so it was very quiet too. I slept well! One thing they need to fix though...at least in the room I had, there was no hanging space for clothes. It would have been nice to have at least some pegs and hangers on the wall. Other than that, it was great! As another reviewer said, Adin is a pretty quiet town, but you can get good food there...at the Frosty, believe it or not! Judging by the full parking lot on the Thursday night I ate there, people come from all over to eat there. Genuine homestye cooking. it was the best meal of my trip!
