Fort Sidney Inn Sidney, Sidney

This place is in a really bad area. Not safe. People out walking the streets at all hours. My husband and I both got a really bad feeling when we drove up.

We drive a truck, and it broke down here in Sidney, they offered us cheaper rates than the others in town, but you get what you pay for. Checked in, got into our room, which looked nice, went to the bathroom, and when we flushed the toilet, water ran out onto the floor from a hole in the toilet that looked as if it was supposed to have a bolt or something in it. Found a couple of bugs in the room. Was told by the manager pool closed at 10pm, but we got woke up at 2:30 by a group of people screaming and yelling in the pool, called manger, and all he did was make them get out of the water, they still sat and stood in the pool area drinking and yelling till 3. Breakfast consists of coffee and cookies. Unfortunately in my experience comparing todays motels to the ones years ago, this place is sadly average. What ever happened to the days when the motel managers cared about their motels???
