Country Villa Motel, Restaurant and Lounge, Punxsutawney

I contacted the motel via their "Contact Us" on their website. When I didn't hear from them I sent a second email. This is their response: "I'm sorry but unlike you I do not live on this computer. I look at this thing about twice a week and sometimes only once a week. If it was up to me I would never look at it mainly because of nice people like you. The last time I checked my e-mail was Sunday afternoon. If you still want a room call 814-938-8330, we do not take reservations over the net, but after the nice message you left I would just as soon you look elsewere.". WOW! What great customer service. I will NEVER stay here!

Dont expect anything fancy here. Its an old motel with new paint and new bedspread. There is nothing fancy...imagine an econoline but without uniform rooms. I dont know if they still have it but a few years ago I actually got a bed that vibrated with a quarter (and it still worked). Having said this, its clean. The people that work there are nice. AND its very convienant to downtown, 25 min from Brookville or Dubois. I personally think a motel like this should cost 30-35 but watch because sometimes you can stay at the Pantell for the same price.
