Burney Motel, Burney

We liked how clean the rooms were. We read in one of those local give-away real estate papers that the motel was on the market in "turn-key" condition and it was. We felt like the carpet was new, the painting was done professionally, with no sloppy spots on the baseboards, clean bathrooms, etc. We liked the fact that there was room at the back of the motel's property off the street for running our dog (and also had picnic tables and a barbecue). The beds seemed to be new. We got great directions to the local sites from the managers and the most thoughtful thing was that they put a broom outside our door the morning that we were leaving so that we could sweep the 6" of snow off our car with ease. We did not like the fact that there were not two end tables by the head of the bed and had to improvise with lamps - but that could have been just our room.
