Huggy Bear Motel, Warren

We live in Indianapolis and my in laws in Warren. When we go to the Salamonie Days or just a weekend visit, we stay at the Huggy Bear. Dallas and Sheila are WONDERFUL people. They will go out of their way (MANY TIMES) to make your stay as close to home for you as possible! We won't stay anyplace else. We love it there! Mr and Mrs. George Snow Indianapolis In

We have stayed at Huggy Bear on our way to Florida every year for the last 10 years. The people are very friendly. The rooms have always been clean. The convenience store next door is also handy. One year we had car trouble and a local man spent hours to help us fix it. The friendly, small town service is hard to find now days. We'll always come back and stay at the Huggy Bear.

I'm on the road alot. It was nice to find a reasonably priced super clean/ non smoking room. @ $35.50 is a good deal. I even took my shoes off and walked on the carpet. no smells of india or some other nasty smell that slum lords of motels whip up in there kitchen. The walls were a little thin but that was over come with the tv set while i sat in bed checking my emails on my laptop. microwave, frig,air con, heat, celling fan, tv, all worked and again clean { i didn't feel i needed to wash after handleing the remote }.Another purk was the breakfast ticket, for a cup of coffee and egg/bacon/chess biscut. I would recomend it to anyone who is traveling that way. and have marked it on my gps if i'm ever in the area again. And finally the best of all A REAL KEY TO THE ROOM.

The room was nice and clean, and at $35 a night it's an amazing deal.
