West Hampton Bath and Tennis Hotel and Marina, Westhampton Beach

This place has tiny dirty rooms for an outrageous amount of money per night. I have been traveling to the hamptons for over 15 years and have stayed at much nicer and cleaner places on the ocean. Dont waste your time or money on this glorified motel. Food is barely edible and the staff is polite but not very helpful. Waste of beautiful peace of property. Such a shame.

Its almost impossible , except for Gurneys in Montauk, an hour further out east to find a hotel on the ocean in the Hamptons. Some of the rooms at B and T are owners rooms and are often in better condition then the hotel rooms. Staying on the bay side is great, its quiet, you can watch the boats go by and not have the noise from the pool area. Westhampton Beach is a great little town. You can walk into town in 10 minutes from the hotel. Nice tennis courts, the restaurant overlooks the ocean. Not too bad.

Tried calling four times to get someone to let me know how staying in the marina works, no one ever called me back or anyone that I spoke to didn't know anything. Thought it was a horrible way to run a business.

Typical LI Beach Hotel. If you understand what that means you will love the place. Expensive but that is the Hamptons. Great location.

Totally not what you see on there web site. The stove was in the closet. the room was dirty. All my family wanted was to go away for a few days and stay ocean front. The view from the room was only of the pool. We did not even stay, we got a full refund and ended up in Greenport. I would never recommond this place. We were very disappointed

This is just my honest opinion. I am confused by the people who say they loved it. But everyone is entitled to their own opinion. I wish you a nice stay if you choose to try it out. Please set your expectations very low. The whole time I was there I was wondering if I was stuck in a bad dream because I was expecting so much after reviewing the website and the costs. If you are used to very nice spotless clean hotels and lodging you will be extremely dissapointed. The staff is decent but they know that this whole thing is not right. They simply have a job to do. During peak season they charge 319 to 600 dollars per night for certain rooms. Some rooms are probably worth 99 dollars or less per night in quality. They charge you for being right close to the ocean. The website is completely misleading. But the problem is apparently there isn't a whole lot better right in town. There are a few places that are not right near the ocean but 5 minutes away that will charge you a lot less. This place in my opinion is Highway Robbery. It is amazing how there are million dollar homes right on that same road, but this place is totally not worth the money unless you go off season and their rates are much lower. Set the bar low and you might be surprised. or Perhaps the luxury of being right near the ocean will make you feel worth it. Good luck
