Very dirty. Once in the room, we pulled the blankets on the bed down and to our disgust, the sheet had long dark curly hairs all over it . Obviously they never changed the sheets from the last visitor. Went down and demanded a different room.Condition of that room not much better. All sheets and towels had brownish /orange stains on them. Walls had all sorts of "stuff" wiped or splattered on them..Just terrible!

The Center Valley Motor Lodge was conveniently located near Desalles University. It was not the greatest but clean and the beds were pretty decent. I did not here any noise from the highway in the two nights I stayed. The owners and staff are very friendly and seem to be trying to keep the place decent. It was also very cheap for only 45 dollars a night. I would come back again, only if it were for one night.

I stay at this hotel often during business trips to Allentown. You can't beat this place if you are seeking a comfortable hotel at a bargain price. The hotel is clean and comfortable. The hotel is owned and manged by a family who tries hard to please. I do have a minor complaint in that the hotel is located on a high speed highway. So there is the sound of traffic at all hours. Look elsewhere if you are seeking luxory accomodations. Look here, however, if you are looking for comfort at a fair price.

Place is quiet and clean, right on the main road-convenient to Desales. Staff couldn't have been any more accomodating. Yes its an older style hotel but the main building does have an enclosed upstairs acccessible only through a locked door. Rooms have a fridge and microwave already there. If you need a luxurious hotel with room service and a fancy lobby don't stay here but if you need a decent convenient place to sleep and shower -its perfect.Owners are VERY helpful and sweet.

DON’T STAY HERE! I made reservations for a Non-Smoking room with a Kingsize bed. When we arrived at the hotel the reservation clerk told me that all the Kingsize rooms were gone but she could give me a room with 2 double beds for the same price! We left to visit family without going to the room (BIG mistake). When we arrived back at the hotel at 9:30pm the 1st thing we noticed was that there were no rooms marked as non-smoking. Our room smelled like someone had just put out a cigarette but there were no ashtrays so I guess it was “non-smoking”. The outside wall of our room was located about 35 feet from a busy highway that had truck traffic all night long and it sounded like you were outside listening to them. The bathroom’s wallpaper was peeling and there was mildew in all the cracks. On the dresser was a Monroe Muffler flier that had a wad of chewing gum stuck to it and the bathtub was full of hairs (not ours). They claim to have a “continental breakfast”but this consists 2’ x 2’ table in the entry way with a plate of Friehoffer Donuts and a pot of coffee with no place to sit to eat and it was too small for more than 2 people to stand. WHAT A DUMP!

This hotel is located in a safe suburban neighborhood, nearby the highway. I stayed 4 nights here for an event at Stabler Arena (13-min driving). The room on the second floor was quiet and clean. I went to Fresh Market (1.5 miles, like Whole Foods) to buy ready-made food, and made the most of the in-room microwave and fridge. The new owner takes great pride in this hotel. He and his family are courteous and helpful. I am glad I chose this quiet suburb over Allentown. If you're looking for a bargain room, a safe and clean place to stay, this hotel is a good choice. (The hotel actually looks better itself than the pictures.)

This place is under new management. The owners are very courteous and really desire to provide a nice experience. The rooms were clean and better than other higher priced hotels I've stayed in the local area. I'll definitely be coming back!
