Hotel Attica, Attica

Yes you can stay somewhere with a hot tub or the mint on the pillow kind of place. BUT nowhere can you find the hospitality, charm and history you find when you step into this quant lil hotel on Main St. I stayed there last year when my Grandma Mabel passed. I was offered to stay at families but I wanted the attica experience from street side. I got that and more. Continuous service day and night, all my needs were provided for. Clean and friendly. The food was excelent, didnt expect much from a small town hotel, but got 5 star dinning, may I say I the chocolate cake was the BOMB. The couple who run this hotel have put their lives into it and it shows. My son and I will be going there in June and will stay no where else but Attica Inn.

I am 34 years old and I have never seen such a horrible hotel. I was told that they where booked up and I got one of there last rooms with a bathroom, as they have rooms without restrooms. Anyway I find it hard to beleive seeing how there where only 10 cars in the lot and my room must have been a closet to the ones in the pictures on there home page. I felt taken, and no refund because I was a walk in and couldn't give 48 hours notice. My room was above the kitchen and by 1000 my eyes where burning from fumes from the kitchen. Also there was a sign in my room saying Please Sleep Between the Sheets, The Blankets and Comforters are not washed every time. I had a horrible experience here.

THIS WAS THE BEST STAY I HAVE EVER HAD IN A HOTEL, I TRAVEL OFTEN AND I HAVE STAYED IN ALOT OF HOTELS BUT THIS WAS THE BEST THE ROOMS,SERVICE,FOOD AND STAFF WAS ALL WONDERFUL AND YOU WONT FIND ALL THIS WRAPED IN ONE TO OFTEN. THE HOTEL HAS A LOT OF CHARM. THEY ARE VERY FRIENDLY HELPFUL FOLKS.I WOULD LOVE TO GO BACK AGAIN AND WILL IF IM IN IND ANYTIME.
