Myself and a few friends have stayed at this place for years. 2 years ago the new owners took over. The first year was great and the new owner was very happy to have "annual" customers. When we returned the next year the prices changed, there was nobody available and we had to call for someone to come check us in. When I called for the reservation, I had identified that my dog would be with us as I do every year and that the dog does not come in the room. Upon our arrival, even after explaning that my dog sleeps in my truck, we were informed that "our kind" are not welcome here. I'm sure the comment refers to duck hunters. We take our money up the street now!
We liked it because the rooms are immaculate and brand new with big plasma televisions and comfortable beds. The people are friendly and the food at the restaurant is out of this world (but not too cheap).
