Hillside Motel, Bridgeport

I was assigned for a project in Ohio for about 4 months and, of course, was not sure about the area or the hotels....I was also short on money being out of work for several weeks....Once contacting the motel I talked with Trac;y and then later to Bruce...they were both extremely helpful and more than willing to help work with me until I started receiving a constant income....They treat you like family and everyone there is extremely kind....Even being away from my family during the holidays I was brought a Thanksgiving meal and a very special treat around Christmas.....Talking and interacting with each and everyone there makes you feel at home....They also had apartments to rent there at the hotel and I was able to acquire one of those...no hassles, no problems from anyone.....I go back in the fall and there is no question as to where I will be staying.....If you need a place to stay short term or long term, this is the place.......Thanks to Bruce and Tracy for a very pleasant stay!.....David

First, Bruce the Manager is a great as manager and person.. gave great recommendations about the area. Second he is very accomodating, worked with me on timing, arrival, payment etc... Third, it was a clean, very well kept room and place. Fouth, it's very hard to beat the price for what you get. I highly recommend the Hillside... if I'm up that way again I won't even give it a second thought. Thanks Bruce !!... the guys from Vegas.

I would recommend this to everyone. It is far enough away from the busy city atmosphere but close enough if you need anything. Only 7-10 minutes from the casino and you cannot beat the price. The staff are very friendly and helpful. We will be back to stay here every time.

the motel was real clean and 7 minutes from wheeling where we go to gamble the owners were friendly and the rates are really priced well for the location. we will stay again

We happened on the Hillside several years ago. VERY clean and sort of vintage but yet always nicely painted and spotless. We visit Wheeling Downs often in WVA and ALWAYS make our reservation at the Hillside. Maybe I should not give this tidy cute place away. I might call some day and not get a room!! Uh oh!!!!!! No kidding. Cleaner than most chain hotels!!!
