Spanish Creek Motel, Quincy

I've been reading reviews of The Spanish Creek Hotel. Many have been negative. We wonder who is running the Hotel now? It use to be Pete and Illa (SP). They are very nice if it is still them. Like the current employee, we were live in workers. It was very well kept and very clean, because we use to do the cleaning and maintenance. We enjoyed Indian Food and spiced coffee each morning. Very nice conversations with Pete.

i have lived in quincy, ca (plumas county) for 18 years now and worked at this motel for two years and i know they are a little ou of date but they are friendly, respectful people and i for a fact that the rooms are clean i clean them myself and we have hundreds of people stay each year and they have never had problems ......so if you are talking down about this motel you might want to check the name again because your all wrong......

I stayed at this place and it was not a plesant experience. I believe some of the five star reviews are planted. it is a old motel which does not exceed 2 stars

we are a moving company out of the redding area, we have lots of clients we move in and out of this area, things are somewhat limited in this area, this is an excellent place to stay, the owners are great, the guys always prefer staying here, this is your absolute best choice, owners are very friendly.. hemsteds van & stg/ anderson, ca

The Motel has excellent location. The prices are fair and the Rooms are clean. It is Quite place to rest. The best motel you can find in quincy for all ocassions!

We got to place atleast 4 times in a year. We had a wonderful experience at the spanish creek motel. the host are very welcoming, made us feel at home. I am glad that my husband chose the spanish creek motel to stay at! Everything is in walking distance, very comfortable place, peaceful, and overall the the owners are very helpful and hospitable, they will make you feel welcome the minute you walk in their office. Enjoy your stay!

Dear Travelers, I stayed at the Spanish Creek Motel during my business trip last week! I was very satissfied with the services that host Ila & Peter provided. This newly remodeled motel in beautiful Quincy,Ca deserves nothing but five stars for good service, clean rooms and for all their improvements they have recently made. They have upcoming plans of making this into a AAA approved, hope they do. I can't wait to stay at this motel with my family again in Quincy this summer!

Hello Everyone, I must say that this place is always remodelling their room. My husband and I have been going to Quincy for the past 5 years and have always stayed at the Spanish Creek Motel. The owners are wonderful people and have remodeled their entire motel from installing new heating/cooling system, tv's, beds, curtains, and will be putting brand new carpet in all 28 units soon. I can't wait to go back and enjoy my stay once again at a motel equivalent to a AAA approved motel:)! I can guarrantee you all, but seeing is believing and therefore sugguest you check this motel out for yourself and be the judge! Oh before I forget,there are great restaurants are within 5 minutes of walking, so no need to drive...just enjoy a relaxful atmosphere like we did. The motel has wireless internet connection!!!

I have been going to quincy for the past 10 years and always stay at the Spanish Creek Motel. I loved my stay at the Spanish Creek Motel, the services, the rooms and the owners were extremely friendly people. I would recommend this place to anyone, especially if you are looking for "a home away from home":). If you go, please enjoy your stay and tell them that Rima Cabrera referred you to them!!!

Just thought I'd add to what has recently been said, the beds are unbelievably bad, the smell is aweful and I couldn't wait to get going in the morning. Nice staff though.
