Ranchito Motel, Quincy

I called the same day to make a reservation. A German woman answered the phone and asked me how many people I had in my party and how many beds I needed. I explained to her 2 times that I would be with my wife and 2 children. She explained to me that it would be $79 for 1 bed or $85 for 2 beds. When I showed up to check in I had to buzz the front desk 3 times for 10 min. When she finally showed up to check me in she said that I never told her how many people were in my party and tried to charge me $105. She would not honor the price she had quoted me and seemed to care less that a family had driven several hours away expecting to have a room to stay in. I felt VERY deceived and hope that this will discourage them from trying this again!

We have stayed here many times and always loved the stream that runs thru the property. The owners are always friendly and helpfull. The rooms are always spotless. They have special rooms if you have animals traveling with you.

The Ranchito was a very relaxing clean and friendly atmosphere. The owners are very friendly and accomodating. We checked out other places and this seemed to be the cleanest in town. Very beautiful surrounding and we look forward to our next visit to the Ranchito.

My family and I have been going to the Ranchito for years and everytime we go it is so pleasant. The service is very friendly and the rooms are very clean. It's outdoor setting is so relaxing, you feel like you are in a park. A truly wonderful vacation! We will keep coming back.

We loved the Ranchito Motel....my husband and I have been going to the High Sierra Music Festival for several years now and that is the only motel in town we like to stay and tell our friends to stay as well. The property is beautiful, rooms are clean, and the owners are very friendly.

The rooms were small and not clean. The blankets and pillow covers had stain. The office service was poor and unfriendly. I would look in to a diffrent motel to stay.
