Cozy, Thurmont

this place is dark, smelly and oppresive. Thurmont has the right locale and could have the greatest B&B's around..If I only had the money....

Stood in line in an empty hallway poor service. When we finally got to the buffett only to find brown lettuce and frozen cucumbers on the salad bar. Went to the hot section and noticed a tag that was dated a month before. My husband tried talking to a young woman that worked there but only to find she spoke no english! Upon sitting and waiting for a waitress we were appauled to the sight of roaches crawling across the table. We had only one option and that was to RUN!!!

Indifferent Service, Dated Musty Rooms, Horrible Food. Such a cute town deserves better.

It's certainly a unique building, however; the smell upon entering is offensive, the floors are dirty, the tables are coated with a layer of sticky film and the food is mediocre. The Cozy Village offers one shop in what was most likely a charming alley way of shops in the 50's. The fact that they continue ot advertise a village of shops is misleading. They are very proud of their history with Camp David and the Camp David Museum inside their restaurant. However, it's a room with lamintated, mounted pictures of past presidents and a few pieces of memorabilia. Save yourself some money and disappointment.

I come from out of town after 12 hrs on the road with 3 children one special needs child I liked the idea of the small town cozy.Howeve the staffis rude and the rooms have lots of mold and mouse poop.The staff spends more time in the back talking and somking then cleaning!I was given my money back after showing the rude MGR te pictures of rat poop bugs and mold.
